Can Dental Implants Replace All of My Teeth?

Patients often reach out to us with concerns about their dental health, particularly those who have lost all their teeth or are struggling with dentures. They frequently ask if it’s possible to replace all of their missing teeth.

The answer is a resounding yes. Mini implants are a fantastic solution we offer to stabilize loose or ill-fitting dentures. Another option we provide is what’s known as a ‘fix on six’ restoration. As the name suggests, this involves placing six mini implants in strategic locations within the mouth.

These implants support a full arch of teeth made from zirconia, a porcelain-like material known for its strength and durability. I’d like to explain a bit more about this process. The zirconia teeth are securely attached to the mini implants using internal housings and O-rings, snapping firmly into place. Once fitted, patients are advised to keep these teeth in place without attempting to remove them themselves.

After six months, they return to our office so we can remove the restoration, ensuring that the implants and gums remain healthy. Upon re-evaluation, we typically congratulate our patients on the excellent care they’ve taken of their new teeth and schedule the next check-up for six months later.
