This restoration is similar in structure to a traditional denture, with a gum base that rests on your jaw. However, instead of relying solely on your gums for support, snap-on overdentures rely on 4 to 8 mini implants as well! Thanks to the special “O-rings” inside the denture base, your prosthetic can secure over your implants to provide a strong bite.
Then, when it’s time to clean your denture, you’re able to remove it easily by “snapping” it off your implants! Then, when you’re done, simply “snap” it back in place and enjoy a stable smile.
Additionally, if it’s in good condition, we may be able to transform your current traditional denture into a snap-on overdenture! By adding housings and O-rings, we change the makeup of your prosthetic to secure it to your jaw.
