At your procedural appointment, we will use a local anesthetic to numb your gums and bone. Then, once you’re comfortable, we will create a small pilot hole through your gums and into your jawbone. After gently screwing your implant in place, it will immediately begin stabilizing in your bone! In most cases, we secure a temporary restoration for your implants the same day we place them. Then, after a short healing period of about 21 days, your implant will be strong enough to support a final restoration!
